There is both A-stock and B-stock in the sale today. B-stock units are tested to the same standards and hold the same warranty as A-stock units, but may have minor cosmetic imperfections. An example of a B-stock unit might be a unit with a paint scratch.
If you are seeing this post and something on the site says it’s out of stock, then it’s gone.
As for re-stock timelines, we’ll be opening pre-orders for more Ghosts in the next couple weeks. We have more Sparks electronics in-house and will sell those in the spring. I think these Ribbons might last awhile, but if you miss out, there will likely be more Ribbons in the spring as well.
Thanks ever so much for being so clear - it’s evident how much time and effort you put into your products and craft. I just ordered a Ghosts, it will be my first Kinotone pedal and I don’t recall that I’ve ever bought anything faster or more frantically in my life… can’t wait to integrate it

Sparks are sold out as well - we have more electronics for these in-house and are working on building them up and they’ll be available this Spring.

guys, could you, please at least announce a day? I haven’t touched my phone for 20 minutes to know months of waiting were for nothing. Nowadays world is a bit unfair for all those who aren’t chronically online. Pladask, Drolo, Dirtywave.. many manufacturers give their audience some slack. thanks.
There weren’t many Ghosts and Sparks available so we didn’t want to draw a bunch of attention to this in advance. We did mention it in our February update post yesterday. No matter how we did it some people would have missed out.
We’ll be opening a pre-order for more Ghosts very soon and it should be much easier to get one that way.

How about a waitlist for the pedals? The current process means that I only see the new pedals on Reverb when the scalpers sell them for twice what they paid.

It’s not a bad idea: I was emailed when the Cyma Forma Alt was taking new orders, and I do believe they still sold out within minutes. And I still passed on it. But that’s essentially what will happen if you get email notifications of this announcements thread (I have to remember to turn those off, currently!)
I’ve got the full trifecta of Kinotone, purchased from the POS on here. Not to rub it in! But more to share my user experience: if you turn on the notifications for the announcements thread, for example, that’s tantamount to signing up for an email announcement. It doesn’t guarantee that you get one or took a number. That’s more like a pre-order.
The window to purchase a ghost this last time around, either b-stock or full price, was about a day if I recall. And, again, an email list would almost be equivalent to being a forum participant, for which you are among the informed few.
