Winter 2025 Production + Shipping Updates (Ghosts, Ribbons, Sparks)

We will use this page to provide updates for those who have pre-ordered Ghosts, Ribbons or Sparks during our fall / winter 2025 production run.

I’m happy to share that we’re pretty much on track with the original shipping timelines quoted. Below is a snapshot of where things are at — to keep things in one place, we’ll update this post as production and shipping moves along.

December 3rd update:

Ghosts

We are starting to catch a flow with shipping Batch 1. We just passed Ghosts orders in the 57XXs. Please keep an eye on your inbox for tracking info.

BATCH 1 — Batch 1 is all orders placed on 10/13 and 10/14. We should finish shipping these ~mid next week.

BATCH 2 — Batch 2 is all orders placed on 10/15. Our goal is to ship all Batch 2 Ghosts by 12/18 (the last day USPS guarantees delivery before Christmas).

Ribbons

We are waiting on a couple product packaging items but we finished building all of the Ribbons and they are currently being tested. Likewise, our goal is to finish shipping them by 12/18.

Sparks

We just received enclosures and PCBs and will start building up Sparks soon. We’re going to try our hardest to start shipping Sparks in December, but this one is by far the most complicated device we make and requires extra testing and calibration steps to get right. So it’s possible Sparks shipping will spill over into January. We really appreciate people’s patience and we’ll provide a more specific update once we’ve made more progress with the build.

A quick reminder on combined orders

If you placed a combined order for multiple pedals (e.g. Ghosts and Sparks), we’ll ship the full order once all pedals are ready. However, we can split them up and ship as they become available, you just have to ask (please email support@kinotoneaudio.com). If you have already requested this, no need to reach out again.

If you placed separate orders (e.g. you have one order # for Ghosts, and a different order # for Sparks), they’ll automatically ship separately as they become available.
