I used Claude to vibe code an HTML midi editor. It took maybe 10 minutes to put together. I really didn’t want to spend the money on Ableton just to get an editor. Feel free to download and try. Run through Claude to update the UI. Make it better if you want!
I use it via USB to USB input to the Ghosts pedal.
Very kind of you. I would be willing to test it. I just need to make sure I can connect it properly. I’ll look to see if I already have what I need for that.
Thank you Thank you THANK YOU. This is so freaking useful. Finally got a day to experiment with it. Wow. So cool. Took me a minute to understand patch saving but it makes sense now. I don’t suppose there’s a way to save patch names that I’m missing. I’m NOT complaining. Free freaking Ribbons editor that works great!!! Seriously man, you are truly a man (or woman, gruvmerchants can be women) of the people. If I wanted to modify the interface, like put everything on one page, would I just load the html into a wysiwyg editor?
Having a little trouble with it saving the presets. Do I need to save on the pedal? I had 5 presets made and I could load them from the editor. Took a break and came back and I couldn’t load them. Curious what I’m doing wrong. Thanks again. What an amazing thing you created.
Pretty straight forward. I tweaked the UI just using simple language (e.g., put all controls on one page). I attached the manual for whatever pedal I’m building for.

Using the attached guitar pedal manual make an HTML midi editor that I can download and use on my computer.
