It’s just such a hard thing to do, but it’s part of the whole beautiful thing.
After the profound experience I had being in the vet room with my 16 year old childhood pup Midas - holding his paw and gently petting his brow while I sang him his favorite song as he slipped to the other side - there was no question when the first dog of my own {and honestly best friend} Apollo’s time came that I would show out the same way.
We’re thankful for everything they give and teach us - both in the game of life, and in the new beginning of death.
More recently, an old lonely ex popped up out of nowhere, claimed Apollo’s brother Oscar as her own after over a decade of him living comfortably with us at my house, and schlepped him off to Kentucky.
While I’m glad he was able to make her happy, not being able to see him off proper a few months ago was the hardest of all. Sounds like you’ll be able to give ole kitty that wonderful gift of going in grace, which is cause for celebration, really!
As a cat owner, with one that is 18 years old, i fear
that day, i already tried to say goodbye to an other cat, i feel your pain and what you are going through, Its truely tough but lifes moves on. I hope you guys gets through in the best way possible.

Thanks for letting us know (manual) and really sorry to hear about your cat. It’s hard enough losing a pet, but having to be the one that decides when to it’s time to say goodbye is especially stressful.

I think they may be referring to the prismatic wall from electronic audio experiments. It’s another resonator pedal but is more limited in what it can do than ghosts. Still a fun pedal!
Thanks for the update Jaak, and I am sorry to hear about your furry pal. I have been through similar a few too many times as well. It’s torturous to walk through, but they never really leave you. Hearts out to you, mate.
Ugh this breaks my heart to hear!! Sending y’all lots of good energy. It was one year ago yesterday that our girl left us for the next plane and I miss her every day.

I just discovered Kinotone and am drooling with GAS. I was this close to buying Prismatic Wall but Ghosts sounds better and is stereo! Definitely notify me when it gets released again.

I really hope you guys are ok considering the situation with your Cat (as earlier mentioned, i am an owner of A very old cat too 18 years) , and the way he react i know I am not having him years now :(, anyways to prevent this to be a sad cat thread i was just wondering, how are you guys holding up, still on track with the manual to be shipped and are you guys still planning shipping Ghosts within a week or 2?? Or do you need more tlme (first batch).

I hope we didn’t give the impression that the whole project is delayed, because that’s not the case - we just needed more time with the manual. Things are still pretty much on track with the original timelines quoted. We’ll share an update post later today.

do I get it correctly: I could have up to 32 user chord / scale combinations if I rely on the presets (i.e., having a different combination stored in th ememory of each preset) right ?
MIDI chart coming soon - that’s the only thing missing from the web manual at this time.
This is correct. 6 presets are directly available on the device and up to 32 with MIDI program change messages. User chords and user scales are embedded in the preset.
I began a Ghosts Manual thread, but I have yet to find anything worth mentioning that warrants its own thread. Maybe some highlight around the image for each Touch Mode in order to clarify “TOUCH 1 and TOUCH 2 provide the knob controls.”
On first read, I thought that meant that only touch modes 1 and 2 took over certain knobs, but clearly I don’t have a Ghosts in front of me, which would have made this self explanatory.
Be there plans in the works for y’all to release any more video content that we might have the privilege of devouring in the near future?

Yes we plan to make more video content for Ghosts. We don’t want this to delay shipping but a walkthrough video is high on the list and should be available soon.

Does that mean it you’re running the looper in Pre, then switch the internal exciter from Vocoder to pluck/strike or air, the looper suddenly jumps to Post position?
