Roli Seabord M experience

Hi,

I’m considering buying and trying out the ROLI Seaboard M with the pedals, so I’m trying to understand compatibility before deciding.

Has anyone here actually tried this setup?

I’m especially curious about:

Does MIDI pitch bend from the Seaboard respond smoothly?

Does vibrato, pressure, expression translate in a good way?

How does it behave when playing chords. Does pitch bend affect all voices together?

Any setup issues with MIDI routing, CC mapping, or latency?

Any features that don’t work as expected compared to a standard MIDI keyboard?

I understand the pedals are not full MPE devices, so I’m mainly trying to understand how expressive they feel in practice with the Seaboard.

Any real-world experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I have a seaboard M, but I haven’t tried it with a pedal yet. If you have not bought a roli, just a heads up I had lots of issues with mine and their customer support is not the fastest. I’ve had mine replaced 3 times within a year for faulty keys and sensors. No issues with the one I have now though. If you do decide to get one, make sure you get it from Roli directly so that you have a warranty.
