Out of thin air Ribbons won’t respond to midi messages it used to.
Especially midi cc 16/17 and 52.
Accordingly to the manual 16 and 17 respond to on/off footswitches (touch and bypass) but now they respond to mix control and compression/saturation.
As for cc52 it just doesn’t switch between comp/distortion.
Also, cc1/13 just do nothing now.
Any help is appreciated!
We overhauled all of the MIDI cc messages in firmware 2.0 to improve compatibility with more MIDI controllers.
It sounds to me like you are running the latest firmware but looking at the old MIDI cc chart.
Please refer to the MIDI cc chart in our online manual here.
