Up until now I’ve been using a blooper as my main looper, but now that I have ribbons and ghosts I want to bookend them as stereo loopers.
For whatever reason, I can get my mood and blooper to sync to midi clock from my daw, but not my ribbons. I sent my daw’s clock via usb to my Prophet 6 in slave thru mode, and then it goes through that to my DAD midibox 4.2.
My ribbons, however, won’t recognize midi clock and sync to it. I’m looking for that blinking 4th led but not seeing it. DAD output is definitely set up for type A.
Second concern is that I can easily control my blooper start/stop via a sustain pedal plugged into midi, but I can’t seem to find out if that same thing would work with ribbons and/or ghosts.
Obviously I’m a MIDI dunce and really all that’s important to me is getting all my hardware to sync to my daw clock.
