[Resolved] Question about compression / saturation

Is there any computing capacity left to make the Comp | Saturation parameters adjustable (in the hidden options page)?
I.e. 12 noon = nothing, move clockwise, increase Saturation. Move CCW increase comp squishiness…

Pretty please, please…
Thank you!

EDIT:
-edited for clarity
-please read my last answer in the thread. I had misread the instructions in the Hidden Options page. In that page you can only select between Comp or Saturation. Their intensity is adjusted in the main tape effects page .

Hey @Paul - the implementation of “hidden options” in 2.0 makes it very easy to switch between compression and saturation on the pedal. Be sure to check that out in the online manual here.

We don’t want those 2 parameters to share a split knob the way you’ve described. The current implementation was our solution and offers quick access to either one.

Hi.
I definitely played with that control: the issue is the binary nature of compnor saturation, I hear no increase in compression or saturation, it’s either on or off.

Hmm. I think there is a misunderstanding.

You use the hidden option to switch between compression or saturation and you use the CP knob (bottom right on page 1) to dial in the intensity of compression or saturation (whichever one is selected).

The CP knob is not binary, it’s continuously variable - twisting the knob CW increases the intensity.

My bad.
Found my mistake: I misread the part in the page dedicated to the hidden controls where you say
“… hold down Bypass while adjusting the control you want to configure…”

which lead me to think that I would hear some kind of adjustment on compression and saturation while I was in the hidden options page.
