Powering ghosts with powerbank to 9v adapter

Hello, about to receive my first pedal (ghosts)ever and was wondering if I could power it with an adapter as this one: My volts usb-c to 9v negative center

Thank you

It should be fine, provided that your power bank outputs enough current via one of the required QC or PD protocols.

So the question is not whether My Volts tip is compatible with Ghosts - it is, the question is whether your power bank is compatible with My Volts)

We haven’t tested those with Kinotone pedals, so I can’t officially endorse them, but based on the specs it seems like they should work.

Just keep in mind that DC converter/power-bank setups can sometimes introduce switching noise. Ghosts has input power filtering, so it may be fine, but if you notice noise or any weird behavior I’d use a different power supply.

One additional note in-case someone misinterprets the title of this post: Ghosts can’t be powered via the USB C jack.

Good point, amended the title!

Ok thanks will try some of them!

Can confirm a rechargeable 9V does not work. I use a HW branded battery for mobile setups and they’ll work with Chase Bliss pedals. The Ghosts will light up briefly but not stay on.

just as another data point I have been using that myvolts red 9V centre -ve tip on a cable from their silent alchemist powerbank to power the Ghosts ever since it arrived a few days ago and it has been working fine.

Can you please provide the link to this battery?

These are the updated version of what I have: Amazon.com: HW 9 Volt Batteries 4 Pack, 1400mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery 9V with USB C Fast Charging Cable, 1000 Cycles Square Baterias for Smoke Detectors, Fire Alarms, Remote Controls, Clocks and More : Health & Household but I don’t think they’ll work either.
