Totally insane! Glad I passed (but only temporarily) on the new Poly Trails and can afford this instead. Fell in love with sympathetic resonance after buying an EAE Prismatic Wall but wished it went further. Same with the one mode on the new Chase Bliss which is cool but has very little adjustment. Was thinking of getting Trails to go further but I’m glad that Ghosts will come first for me.

Any beta testers compare to those others yet?

First off, thank you all so much for the positivity and excitement about Ghosts! We’re so grateful for everyone who has placed an order today. :white_heart:

Here are some answers to recent questions:

This is a capacitive touch keyboard and sequencer I’ve been working on for a couple years. It’s not an official product yet but we’re working hard to change that. If all goes well, it will be available early next year.

We will have a video manual available before orders ship but I can’t promise that the pre-order window will still be open by the time it is available.

We’re tidying up a couple things but shooting to have the manual published (without a password) early next week. If you have specific questions about how it works in the meantime, feel free to ask.

There will be two batches of Ghosts this year. “Batch 1” is about 300 units, which are already built up and will start shipping in the 4-5 week lead time quoted on the product page. We are 2/3 of the way sold out of Batch 1 as of right now.

We have a “Batch 2” in progress of about 200 units. We’ll update the language on the product page once we get there, but the shipping timeline for Batch 2 will be longer, probably more in line with 8-10 weeks.

is there any way to capture the rhythm generator in the looper?

also any chance you can expand on what you mean by this?
“or create your own exciter with a captured loop”

Do you capture a short loop, which then becomes the exciter model?

There is not because they are both “Touch Modes” (aka they determine what the Touch Footswitch does) and you can only use one at a time.

Basically! If you turn the MIDI exciter “off” and send the pedal note data while a loop is playing back, the sound of your loop will become the exciter instead of a pluck, strike, or blow. See 4:16 in the demo video for an example. You can loop the contact mic or audio from the input jack and use it to excite the resonators.

I just opened my email and saw the announcement for Ghosts. I hurried to the site to order and you were already sold out! How disappointing. :sob: I hope I can make the second announcement before they sell out too.

Too late to the first batch but can’t wait for the 2nd batch.
Hopefully a color variant will be available too.

Is the reverb algo in the Ghosts the same as the one in Ribbons?

@jaakjensen Ignore my question. I misunderstood how the batches were being sold. This thing is going to be so much fun. The idea of having a discrete, controllable, compact sympathetic resonator is indescribable. I’m so hyped. Also looking forward to reading the manual and seeing just how wacky I can get with this thing.
