Quick Ghosts update:
Following our July sale, a lot of people who’d been wanting a Ghosts told us they’d missed out. We’d originally planned to open another pre-order in August so that people could reserve one.
We are building up a big batch, but have decided to just sell these units when they’re ready.
There will be more Ghosts for sale in October, in the original green as well as a new colorway.
Pre-orders can be helpful for managing demand, but they also put a lot of pressure on us to build and ship units as quickly as possible. On the other end, no one likes waiting several months for something to arrive so people understandably get antsy, and all around it just makes for a more stressful shop environment. We’d like to avoid that right now if we can and give ourselves a bit more breathing room.
Enclosures are currently being drilled, painted and printed, and circuit boards are being assembled next week. This next batch will be significantly larger than the last one, so I’m hoping that most people who are interested will have a fair shot at getting one.
