Chose to dial in some reverb and tape-y warble on the Ribbons and man, do I like how it sounds.
Ran it into the Chase Bliss Clean for some extra compression and recorded it like that, no post-processing or additional fx.
Now onto a bit more experimental stuff with my GameBoy running through that lovely pedal next…

I like 4x3. It’s kind of a rare thing now. I watched an old BBC spy show a while back and I was struck by how tight the compositions can be in that format, kind of boxed in feeling, perfect for a spy story (or the movie The Lighthouse).
Thanks for listening! Yeah, 4:3 has become a rarity, but I feel like it could be nice to re-visit. A lot of people don’t watch YT in full screen anyway, that’s when 4:3 takes up a bit more real estate, I also feel like re-using it in that format for the ‘vertical platforms’ without re-editing everything… Plus I am already at a point where I feel a certain nostalgia for it

Thank you. I think Ribbons really covers a lot of ground from gentle to gross, currently I am messing with some GameBoy sounds through it and getting weird with it… very fun.
