I’m kind of an expression pedal (and ramper) nut and I like to experiment with mapping to different parameters. On Ribbons, when I want to do that I have to pull out the power jack and reinsert it. This is somewhat inconvenient unless Ribbons happens to be on the right end of a row on my pedalboard. Also I’m worried about wear on the power jack. There’s a fair bit of resistance when pulling/pushing and it feels like it might be hard on the jack. If there was a way to get into configuration mode without power cycling that’d be cool. Maybe press both footswitches and double- or triple-tap the page button?
Holding Touch and pressing Bypass already has a function - it latches the touch mode.
Holding Bypass and pressing Touch has another function - it toggles the fidelity of Unreal Player.
So those combos wouldn’t work. 
The jacks are rated for 5000 plugs / unplugs, so unless you’re doing this multiple times a day every day, I wouldn’t worry too much about wear on that connector. The jack just has a snug / tight fit. The connector you plug into the jack will probably wear out before the jack does.
