Connecting Chase Bliss Midibox to Ghosts

I’ve tried to follow the instructions I’ve seen in the forum and on the webz but I can’t quite figure out connect a CBA midibox to the Kinotone.

midi flow: USB-C to midi cable > midi cable to Chase Bliss Midibox > CBA Out 1 > Ghosts pedal.

I tried:

  • USB midi cable to Midi thru on CBA midibox
    – tried midi in too just in case
  • switching the internal jumpers
  • Resetting the midi channel to make sure it’s 1
  • Checking the TRS cable

Any suggestions?

Ghosts won’t work directly from the CBA MIDIBox TRS outputs. Those use the older Chase Bliss TRS MIDI wiring, which is different from the standard TRS MIDI Type A / Type B wiring that Ghosts uses.

To use the MIDIBox with Ghosts, use the MIDIBox’s 5-pin DIN MIDI THRU output with a standard DIN-to-TRS MIDI adapter, like the one in our webstore.
