I would like to hear your thoughts on the option to save bypass and touch states to presets. It’s less important for Bypass state, because the bypass state at least persists between preset changes. However, the Touch state is always reset to the OFF state when the new preset is loaded.
I know that there is a workaround for this via MIDI: with decent MIDI controllers, we can always create a command to send both the required PC number and the CC#80 or CC#81 for Touch and Bypass states.
I just wonder if it is feasible to add some mechanics to future FW updates to have BP and Touch states directly savable to presets?
For instance, a few MIDI-controllable devices let you call presets in either bypassed or enganged states, using MIDI CC messages.
This is not a feature request, because I have a solution for what I need via MIDI, just wanted to hear your views.
